Stories From Around The World GEET Aug 08 2021 The Pundit's Look There was Pundit in the village. He was well-versed in all Scriptures. He knew everything, but, he was poor. He did not have a house. He used to get his meals also with great difficulties. Even his clothes were very much worn out. So, the Pundit used to beg for his meals. He went from House-to-House begging. “Please give me alms”. On seeing his old clothes many people were thinking that he is mad. So, saying “Go Away” they shut the door. For many days he did not even eat. Once somehow he obtained new clothes. A rich man gave those clothes to the Pundit. Wearing those new clothes he went for begging as before. To the very first house he went, the householder said, “Sir, please come in. Please have your food in our house”. Saying thus, with great respect, he took the Pundit inside for food.   Isaac Newton SWARNIMA Aug 06 2021 Sir Isaac Newton was born on 25 December 1642. Isaac Newton was a mathematician, physicist, astronomer, theologian, author and scientist. He introduced gravity and the Law of Motion to the world. Once , Newton was sitting under the shade of an apple tree when suddenly , an apple fell on his head. Newton pondered that why the apple fall on the ground?? Why didn't it go upward or sideways?? These questions led to the discovery of gravity. Apples would have fallen on many heads , but it fell in the brain of Newton only. There are three laws of motion. The first law of motion is that , if a body is at rest or moving at a constant speed in a straight line, it will remain at rest or keep moving in a straight line at constant speed unless it is acted upon by a force. The second law of motion states the acceleration of an object as produced by a net force is directly proportional to the magnitude of the net force, in the same direction as the net force,
My Swimming Career (pass on from old portal Blog) Rishabh Aug 02 2021 Disclaimer- I had made this same blog in the old portal but now I am making it simplified, hope you enjoy! Greetings! My name is Rishabh Anand and I study in Orchids International School 5A! Today I will tell you my story of how i progressed through swimming from Kindergarden to 3rd Grade! I was a regular 6 year old boy who hated swimming. I used to live in USA, Arizona Pheonix, Sierra Ranch. In our Society, Sierra Ranch there was a swimming pool. I'd rather only touch and splash the water with my feet instead of swim. One night we went swimming with my mothers friends and my friends. All of my friends could float, but not me. I didn't enter the swimming pool until he dragged me into the pool! I tried to float, but it was worthless. An aunty came and rescued me, so I didn't drown. That was the last time ever I went swimming in the society. The only way I made contact with water was at beaches. Then we f
LIFE DURING PANDAMIC SREELAKSHMI Aug 04 2021 I would like to express my feelings about how our life has changed during the pandamic. We have lost all the freedom we had. Many people cannot travel like they used to, they cannot meet their families and cousins. Whoever had travelled during the pandamic are stuck in diffrent places unable to return home on time. With the school being closed and students unable to to meet their friends in person. The pandamic has changed everything like the way we communicated and more.  Children are not able to run around and play. Masks and sanitizers have become essential items in every household. I believe that many people in the wrld are trying to find a way to destroy the virus and help us live our life filled with freedom & happiness. Saying this I Sreelakshmi is going to stop by reassuring you that we can fight the pandamic together, I also request all to follow the health instructions by the health care providers and doctors. All must get va
