  My Idea Of A Fun Weekend Author : Kritika Karade The monotony of the weeks had set in and I longed for a change, for some excitement, for something new. My friends and I had been invited to attend a wedding in Atlanta and I spent the week preparing for the trip. I packed my kitbag as if I would be gone for a month, even though it was only a weekend trip. As my friends and I planned for our trip, the excitement in my voice was obvious. It was as if I had never been out of Valdosta, but the truth was, I had not been anywhere for the entire semester. I had been joggling a sixteen hour course load at school, a forty hour work week and as if that was not enough, I had the added bonus of a confusing relationship. Everyone at work new I would be out of town that weekend, I made it my business to talk about it everyday that week.   SWAMI VIVEKANANDA Author : Tarashree Mulge S wami Vivekananda was born on 12th January 1863 in Calcutta on the occasion of Makar Sankranti festival, in the traditional Kayastha Bengali family. Swami Vivekananda's childhood name was Narendranath Dutt (also known as Narendra or Narayan). He was one of the 9 children of his parents (father Vishwanath Dutt was an advocate in the Calcutta High Court and Mother Bhuvaneshwari Devi was a religious woman). He grew up in the most influential personality of the father's rational mind and mother's religious nature. If you get too close, it burns your eyes and stings your nostrils. You could stare at the bright flames forever as they twist and flicker in endless incarnations… But what exactly are you looking at? Is it a solid, liquid or gas? The flames are obliviously not a solid nor a liquid. At first, It mat seem that fire is a gas, just more visible. And on a scientific level, fire differs from gas because gases can exist in the same state indefinitely while fire extinguishes out. One misconception is that fire is a plasma, the fourth state of matter in which atom are ionized. However plasmas don't exist in a stable from on earth.
