What are natural resources?
Materials or substance occurring in nature which can be exploited for economic gain.
Natural resources are resources that exist without any actions of humankind. This includes all valued characteristics such as commercial and industrial use, aesthetic value, scientific interest and cultural value. On Earth, it includes sunlight, atmosphere, water, land along with all vegetation, and animal life.
The four natural resources are renewable, living, non renewable, and fossil fuels. They are very important to our life and existance.
For example, Coal, Oil, Soil, Water, Land, Minerals, Forests and Timber, and Air we breathe. The role natural resources has on earth is imperative indeed. That is why it's so important for us to all have some accountability and why we need to PROTECT and RESPECT our environment.
Resources characteristics: Resources have three main characteristics namely
1) Utility,
2) Limited availability,
3) Potential for depletion or consumption.
Scarcity is the fundamental economic problem of having humans who have unlimited wants and needs in a world of limited resources.

Human resource is an important factor of economic development. It increases labour mobility from which the executing resources can be made more productivity. The development of human resources increases the knowledge of natural resources. New production technique, market and opportunities of the economic activities.
Humans use natural resources for everything they do: for example, they use soil and water to grow food, wood to burn to provide heat or to build shelters, and materials such as iron or copper extracted from Earth to make cooking pans.
Natural resources are provided by nature so we should respect them and should not waste them ....
Conserving natural resources is a broad topic, but here are 6 things we can do to start protecting the earth's resources.

Natural resources are provided by nature so we should respect them and should not waste them ....
