A forest is an area of land dominated by trees. Hundreds of definitions of forest are used throughout the world, incorporating factors such as tree density, tree height, land use, legal standing and ecological function. Many animals are living in the forest. Forest Animals are the wildlife mainly found in the forests which includes all types of animals such as Insects ,Birds, and all the other animals . Forest animals include the wild creatures, the predators like wolves, lynxes, bears, foxes and wolverines, mammals, water creatures and many tiny creatures.

How do the animals survive in the forest? The animals use the tall trees and understory for shelter, hiding places from their predators, and a source of food. Because there are so many animals competing for food, many animals have adapted by learning to eat a particular food eaten by no other animal. Forests are home to about 80% of life on earth. Animals, big and small, depend on healthy forests, which provide them with the fruits, nuts and plants they need to thrive. In turn, humans depend on those very animals to spread the seeds of the plants they have eaten, which helps fertilize the soil. Wild animals such as lions, tigers, snakes, elephants, etc. live in forest because they get adequate amount of food there, forests are full of tress and animals. This trees provide them shelter, food and peace. If they would live in cities, they will not get adequate amount of food, they wouldn't get shelter and peace.

The beneficial uses or functions of wildlife are numerous. In agriculture these include not only the cropping of species growing in the wild but also their potential for future cultivation and role in such processes as crop pollination and biological control of pests.

How are animals useful to us? The Benefits of Pets for Human Health. Animals play an important role in many people's lives. In addition to seeing-eye dogs and dogs that can be trained to detect seizures, animals can also be used in occupational therapy, speech therapy, or physical rehabilitation to help patients recover.

An average of 137 species of life forms are driven into extinction every day in the world's tropical rainforests. The forces of destruction such as logging, cattle ranching have all contributed to the loss of millions of acres of tropical rainforest. Animals and people alike lose their homes when trees are cut down. The main modern causes of extinction are the loss and degradation of habitat (mainly deforestation), over exploitation (hunting, overfishing), invasive species, climate change, and nitrogen pollution.
