Hello Reader's, How you ever looked at the night sky? What can we see? Stars and a small part of milky way right? But that's all in the Universe and there are 9 well know 8 types of planets as we all know. So let's talk more about Planets! There were total 9 planets before 2006, in August 2006 a group of scientists considered Pluto as a dwarf planet, Pluto is primarily made of ice and rock.
Now the 8 planets are Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune. Apart from Earth itself, five planets in the Solar System are often visible to the naked eye. Planets in the Solar System are divided into two main types: large low-density giant planets, and smaller rocky terrestrials.Beyond Neptune, a newer class of smaller worlds called dwarf planets reign, including longtime favorite Pluto. Thousands more planets have been discovered beyond our solar system. Scientists call them exoplanets. exo means "from outside. The inner, rocky planets are Mercury, Venus, Earth and Mars. NASA's newest rover Perseverance landed on Mars on Feb 18, 2021. The outer planets are gas giants Jupiter and Saturn and ice giants Uranus and Neptune. Did you know Earth has a sister who is Venus the second planet from the sun and similar to the size of the earth and mercury is the closest to the Sun and is considered as the smallest planets.
