The First Time I Saw Snow
Hello friends. Have you ever seen a snowfall? Have you ever had the pleasure to just lay around in snow? If you have that is great! But if you haven’t you don’t know what you’re missing out on. In this blog I am going to tell you the first time I saw snow.
The first time I saw snow, I was 5-6 years old. That was the time I was living in England. We moved to England because of my Dad’s job. At first when I heard the news, I didn’t want to leave India.
But the funny thing is, last year when we had to come back to India, I didn’t want to leave my life in England. We were settled there. And I had friends, I loved my teachers and school. I didn’t want to leave that. Anyway, back to snowfall…..
…. It was in January, when I saw the first snowfall. It started to rain, eventually the rain changed to something different. Then, I realized that it was snowing, the scene was beautiful. I had seen it hail before, when I was in India, but snow was something different. In the morning, I looked out of the window, snow had fallen few inches deep. I was amazed!
Since me and my brother had a holiday, we made a snow man. We even went to the park and make a giant snowball, then I jumped on the ball and sprayed snow everywhere. We had a snowball fight. Then we laid on the ground and spread our hands and legs. we made snow angels.
One winter, we went to this mountain called Bridgenorth. It was covered with snow. The tree branches were covered with snow. Instead of leaves, the branches had icicles. The woods were beautiful. We had a lot of fun. Lots of people don’t like snow because it is cold. But once you get used to the cold, it is fun!
